DOS Notice of HIS Campus Closure February 3-7

Dear HIS Community:

Please be informed that the Hangzhou Education Bureau (HEB) advised all schools in Hangzhou to remain closed at least until February 09.  The HEB will provide updates if further closure is necessary.  HIS campus at HIS will be closed from February 3-7.  All planned activities and events at school will be cancelled through February 09.  The school will be closed except to HIS staff and will only reopen to students when it is safe and reasonable to do so.  HIS has already in place an e-learning platform to ensure learning can continue during the period of closure and as a contingency for any students unable to attend after reopening due to unforeseen travel restrictions or quarantine.  Further information about specific action plans and access to the e-learning portal will be forthcoming.  Please continue to monitor your email as this is how we will communicate further information, updates, and e-learning access.  We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.

刚刚接到杭州市教育局的通知，为学生安全考虑，所有的学校必须先推迟到2月9日与当地中小学一起开学。如有进一步的消息，会另行通知。因此，杭州国际学校将于2月3日到2月7日停课。2月9日之前所有的学校活动全部取消。学校与此同时，也只会让员工进入学校。学生需要等到一切情况安全稳定以后再进入校园。学校会为学生们搭建一个网上学习平台来确保这一段时间的学习活动正常展开。并且，如果有学生因为一些特殊原因，在学校开学以后不能及时赶回学校上课，也可以通过网上平台进行学习。关于更多网上学习平台的信息，会在接下去的这一段时间内陆续向大家发布。请持续关注你们的邮箱，这是我们在接下去的一段时间内，最主要和大家沟通信息的途径，会时时发布进一步的信息，以及关于网上学习平台的一些路径。非常感谢大家的耐心关注，让我们共度难关。
