Academic Excellence for Every Learner
The Class of 2026 has achieved outstanding academic results, with the HIS five-year IB Diploma average of 33 higher than the global average by 2 points.
Every graduate earned a WASC-accredited High School Diploma, and more than half (51%) earned a Bilingual Diploma, reflecting both strong academic achievement and multilingual proficiency.
Academic excellence extended beyond the classroom, with 29% of graduates members of the National Honor Society, earning recognition for exceptional achievement in academics, service, character, and leadership.
Global University Success
The university outcomes for the Class of 2026 are among the strongest in recent years: 80% of applicants secured places at QS Top 100 Global Universities, while a remarkable 59% enrolled at QS Top 50 institutions.
Graduates will continue their studies across the world, with final destinations including the United States (49%), Asia (19%), Canada (12%), United Kingdom (10%), Europe (5%), and Australia (5%).
From engineering and architecture to fashion design, sports management, history, and the performing arts, they are pursuing passions as diverse as their backgrounds.
The Jade Dragon Legacy
Perhaps the most meaningful statistic of all is that 51% of the Class of 2026 are Jade Dragons, students who have been part of the HIS community for eight years or more.
Their journeys reflect the deep sense of belonging, lifelong friendships, and enduring connections that define the HIS experience.
The Jade Dragons are true ambassadors of our HIS mission, reflecting academic and personal excellence, and embracing the many opportunities provided, but also being a major part of establishing the caring community that HIS nurtures.
As they embark on their next adventures, the Class of 2026 leaves HIS not only with exceptional academic results, but with the empathy, curiosity, and global perspective needed to thrive anywhere in the world.
