Testimonials
"What stands out to me the most about HIS is the diversity and international community."
I’ve gone to 8 different schools around the world, and have lived in Sweden and the US, but what stands out to me the most about HIS is the diversity and international community. By being exposed to different cultures, I've developed a unique perspective that has helped me flourish creatively and academically.
IRIS, Class of 2024
“It was very important for my daughter to attend an international school where she could have friends from diverse cultural backgrounds."
HIS has been a great place for my daughter, and she has been very happy here. I want her to have a balance between academics and enjoying life outside of the classroom. She really enjoys school, which is very important to me as a parent.
MAGGIE, Parent at HIS
“HIS has a wonderfully diverse faculty. Our teacher’s expertise, combined with their global perspectives, enriches the learning experience for students."
The school hosts many community events throughout the year and encourages students and parents to contribute to the wider community. It's a true melting pot of cultures and interests.
AXEL, Lower School Teacher at HIS
“I was involved in many co-curricular sports activities at HIS: volleyball, soccer, track and field, and basketball. These experiences are what taught me about teamwork and collaboration, as well as helping to build connections with others."
Going to tournaments with other schools was also beneficial and I’ve since met some of the students from the tournaments in university. Plus, being involved in the Student Council helped me grow as a leader, I learned how to plan, organize, and take initiative.”
